Kurt Preugschas, DVM
Kurt was born and raised on a pig farm near Barrhead, Alberta, which sparked his passion for swine production and medicine. He graduated with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 from WCVM in Saskatoon. After graduation, he went directly into swine medicine and has worked in swine practices in Manitoba and Alberta. In 2019, Kurt started a new swine veterinary practice, Precision Veterinary Services inc., based in Red Deer, Alberta. He and his wife Tanja have their home in Lacombe with their children Tristan, Kaia, and Ella.
Association: Kurt takes part in various committees and associations to stay abreast of industry news and innovation. He is a Director of Canadian Association of Swine Veterinarians.

Cordell Young, DVM
Cordell grew up on a mixed grain and livestock farm near Bredenbury, SK. He purchased his first ewe and her triplet lambs at the age of 9. His sheep business grew steadily until his graduating year of high school when he reached 150 ewes. The experience with sheep led him to the Animal Science program at the University of Saskatchewan and ultimately to Veterinary Medicine at the WCVM. Since graduation in 2017, he has worked as a swine veterinarian in the Lethbridge area.

Lonneke Nooijen, RVT
Lonneke grew up on her family's hog farm near Stettler, Alberta. Growing up surrounded by animals led her to become a veterinary technician. She went to school at Lakeland College and completed the Animal Health Technology program. Upon completing her program, Lonneke took the opportunity to spend a year in New Zealand to travel across the country (twice) and work on dairy farms. There, she worked mainly as a calf rearer and milker on farms, and as a dairy vet tech until her return to Canada. Lonneke now lives just outside of Lacombe, Alberta and works as a swine vet tech with Precision Veterinary Services.
